I am 32 years old and I work as a salesman for a distribution company. I was born and raised in western NC. I have one, beautiful eight year old daughter, Laken and a loving girlfriend, Crystal.
I learned to hunt in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC by literally following in my fathers footsteps when I was 13 years old. I harvested my first deer with a gun when I was 14 and that just fueled the fire early in my life. Hunting whitetail deer and turkey around home quickly became my passion.
After harvesting many quality whitetails with a gun, in 2003 I harvested my first deer with a Mathews bow and I knew at that moment I was hooked. Bow hunting definitely added a new challenge I was looking for.
My father and I started to pursue hunts out of the state and in 2005 I met Bobby Griffith, owner of R&R Hunts. Bobby and I quickly became good friends and he introduced me into the world of videoing hunts. Once I started videoing hunts I was addicted. I love the challenge of getting a quality video.
The most memorable videoed hunt would have to be with Bobby Griffith and Toby Trivett in Ontario, Canada where I shot a bull moose at 10 yards with a bow. What a rush!
I currently have leases in 4 states. I enjoy the freedom leases give me to hunt and do it myself. I like putting in the hard work of hanging my own stand and trail cameras. Its just that much more rewarding when a plan comes together.
I am very proud to be a pro-staff member of Adrenaline Adventures TV, a show in my home state, NC. Im so fortunate to have been on many exciting hunts. The camera has taken me all across the US and Canada in the pursuit of trophy big game and I am very thankful for the opportunity.
