As a kid growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC, I was very active in sports. I played baseball, basketball, and football. I was introduced to hunting by my grandpa. He loved to hunt small game such as rabbits, squirrels, and grouse.
I enjoyed being in the woods and spending time with my grandpa. At the age of sixteen I was in a terrible accident. I stopped to help a lady move her stalled vehicle from the roadway. As I was assisting her I was hit by a car which resulted in the loss of my right leg. I have always been a very optimistic person. I knew that I would never again be able to play baseball or football but I knew that I would still be able to hunt. My love of hunting small game with my grandpa in the mountains grew into a passion for hunting big game.
I have hunted all across the US and Canada for all types of game including deer, moose, bear, turkey, wild hogs and just about everything that has an open season. In 1998, my best friend and I started R&R Hunts, Inc, an outfitting company established to offer quality hunting trips at affordable prices. Through R&R Hunts, I have had the privilege of helping other hunters fulfill their lifelong hunting dreams. In 2008 I fulfilled a lifelong dream of my own. I started Adrenaline Adventures TV in my home state of North Carolina. I feel the number 1 reason for my continued success is a supportive family my wife Renee and our 3 sons Caleb, Christian and CJ.
